"If you have questions, please ask," reads a memo on the dispatch board. How often do we go through life having questions that we never ask about? When I first began reading the Bible, I had questions. Questions about my life, the past, the future, and Jesus. As I read more and more, I recieved answers; however, I had more questions--different questions. The deeper I got into the Bible, the questions seemed to more specific to the nature of God, and details of the accounts found in the stories.
So the question is, are there questions you should ask of God? How about fighting fire? EMS? Do you have questions when you see people die? Do you wonder about the incidents that seem to horrible and unbelievable to describe?
Having all the answers is impossible--that is evident by the amount of knowledge available today. After an hour of surfing the web, my head hurts from all the information out there. The Bible says, "Pride comes before the fall" and pride is what got Lucifer (Satan) booted out of the heavenlies. May we be found humble, yet wise as serpants, and always seeking to know more about the nature and heart of the Ultimate Commander in Chief.
Go ahead and ask away for the LORD is listening.
