When Kids Pass

Ask any firefighter and they'll tell you, it's hard to swallow when a child dies. While getting a morning dose of coffee and news, I saw a report of 7 children die in a Pennsylvania house fire. As the story progressed, I flashed back to the children that have died on my shift and my own kids. I couldn't help feeling sad for the mom, dad, and one surviving child. My heart and prayers go out to them tonight and to include the firefighters that I'm certain worked their tails off trying to make rescues. I pray those kids are in God's arms.
